Should I bring previous x-rays, scans etc?
We ask that you bring any relevant medical information (including X-ray reports, scans, any previous surgical reports etc) for the Physiotherapist to assist in assessing your injury.
What health funds do you accept?
Hicaps is available.
If you are covered by auxillary cover with private health insurance, we have HICAPS to allow on the spot claims with your health fund. This means you will only need to pay the gap on the day. You MUST have your private health fund card with you on the day otherwise the account is to be paid in full and you will need to take your receipt to your health fund to make your claim.
Referrals
No referral is required if you are to be treated as a private patient.
Referrals are required from your GP for Workers Compensation, Third Party Insurance, Veteran Affairs or Medicare Enhanced Primary Care Plans.
Where are you located?
Shire Sports Physiotherapy is located in Suite 104, Level 1, The Kiora Centre, 29 Kiora Rd, Miranda NSW 2228 (near the RTA and above the Blood Donor Centre) and is an easy walk from Miranda Train Station and Westfields Miranda.
Parking is available under the building 0-1hr free, 1-2 hrs $4. Street parking is also available.
